Washington Elite is the events brand of GlobalBoost. It has put founders, investors, diplomats and policymakers in the same room for close to two decades, from the DC convention center to a palace in Vienna, the Versace Mansion, the Harvard Club and the Hard Rock in Times Square.

We were doing AI conferences in 2018

Long before every conference added the letters to its name, the Washington Elite AI and Blockchain Summit took over the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on November 30 and December 1, 2018, with John McAfee, DigiByte founder Jared Tate, Jorg Molt and a hall of startups pitching to investors in the ICO Grand Slam and Startup Cup. In 2019 came the Self Sovereign Identity Edition in Washington and the Smart City Edition at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, where Liberland President Vít Jedlička shared the stage.

Today Washington Elite runs the Investment Summit and Gala during Blockchain Week - UNGA Edition, the Inaugural Ball in Washington, and summits wherever the conversation needs a room.

For investors and miners: the squeeze

Most of the supply is already mined. The rest arrives slowly, on a schedule nobody can change. And for the first time, the chain has an ecosystem that actually consumes it.

A twelve year old proof of work chain with a hard cap, a thin float and new demand is set up differently from the tokens launched last quarter.

Alt seasons reward assets that are scarce, verifiable and already working. BSTY has a 30 million hard cap, about 81 percent of it mined, a block reward of 25 BSTY that keeps halving, and no premine or team allocation waiting to be unlocked onto the market. Liquidity is thin, which cuts both ways: it has kept the market cap small, and it means new demand moves the price quickly.

What is new is the demand side. RUNES inscriptions, Connect instances for partner conferences, FSNN publishing, Boostr and conference partners paying in BSTY all pull coins into use. We believe an ecosystem that people actually use can support a much higher price and market cap than a chain that is only mined and traded.
